Inne lazy Friday, I was searching in the net to find out some near by place to pune to spend my weekend. Then I found the place called Baneswar, which is just 35 Kms from pune and it is also located in Pune-Mahabaleswar road ,which is a high way, so easy to drive and reach .As my in-laws were with us that time and they prefer religious places rather than beach and Hill station to visit, I suggest this place to my husband. He did some R&D, got some feedback from some of his colleagues and finally decided to visit that place. We left after lunch, recahed there around 4:30 p.m and I was exited to see that place. The temple is situated in a jungle,calm and quite place, simple but beautiful temple, ideal picnic spot . The temple has The main entrance, light stand, Dharamshalas, 2 clean water tanks, a big bell are good to see. There are idols of Devi Laxmi, Lord Vishnu and Lord Mahadev in the temple. There are five Shivlingas here in trench, which can be easily seen with the help of light. Behind the temple is a garden and a stream which excels the beauty of that place. My 8 months old son was so exited ,he did not agree to come from the garden and played a lot there under a tree.My in-laws liked that place very much .They also were busy collecting imli,papya ,flowers from the trees inside the garden.We spent 3to 4 hours there. Baneswar is really a nice place to visit with your family,spend one whole day,take your own food to have picnic there.You can also found some small shops for Badapau,tea,snaks but it is better to take you own food and drinking water if you want to spend entire day over there.
